- The Axe VCA will appear on static display, and Skyfly will run an exhibition stand in the Future ‘n Flight Plaza
Following a highly successful North American debut appearance at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh last July, Skyfly Axe SN001 is to take part in the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo on the 14th-19th April 2026 in Lakeland, Florida.
Held most years since 1975, Sun ‘n Fun began as a major fly-in and rapidly grew into one of the largest airshows in the United States, with a particular focus on light and experimental aircraft. It now features six days of flying and static displays, over 3,000 visiting aircraft, 550 trade exhibitors and 200,000 visitors, including tens of thousands of private pilots.
“Sun ’n Fun is a hugely important event for the general aviation community, and we’re excited to bring the Skyfly Axe following its very positive reception at Oshkosh. Having SN001 based in North America has allowed us to continue flight testing, and events like this give us the opportunity to engage directly with pilots, owners, and partners who are shaping the future of light aviation.”
– Michael Thompson, CEO, Skyfly
Axe SN001 has been based in the United States since its appearance at AirVenture, and has been working through its flight test programme in the country. Taking a break from its busy test schedule, it will appear on static display at Sun ‘n Fun at Skyfly’s exhibition stand, where members of the Skyfly team will also be on hand to meet the public, press and prospective owners.
